Dr. Howard Allen Heit, MD

Dr. Heit cares more about money and covering his butt than he does about his patients. His staff was often rude. Dr. was frequently condescending and would repeat things over and over as if were an idiot. He cut me off of my meds and I spent 6 weeks detoxing and in horrible pain. He did not care. He told me to stop calling him and asking for help (I had lost my job and could not pay his "CASH ONLY" fee.) I had been a patient for >6 years and by that time had paid him thousands of dollars. Unreal.

Dr Heit is one of only a few doctors in the Washington DC metro area willing to help chronic pain patients. Through personal experience he understands what it is like to live with chronic pain, and does what he can to provide help and information. He is a leader in the field of pain management and takes this role seriously. He is compassionate and willing to go out of his way to help his patients. I highly recommend him.

I found Dr Heit to be very through, spent a lot of time with me. He worked very hard to get the correct modalities to help me. He called to check on me after the appointment.I would refer him to another without reservation

Dr. Heit takes CASH only? And charges 80$ for a drug screen,plus 600$ to just to be his patent.
