Dr. Howard Samuel Kroop, MD

If Dr Kroop spent five minutes with me it was a lot. He barely speaks to you and seems more concerned with what he is writing on his computer. He does not seem to even want to acknowledge you or that you even have a problem. It is like dealing with a robot

I had told him my family doctor would call me with the results. When I finished work that day, it was Dr.Kroop who had left a message for me regarding my results. I truly appreciated him taking the time to follow up on the scan and calling me immediately with the results. His bedside manner is outstanding and your office is very kind. Just want to say that, as a patient, it is wonderful to know that there still are doctors and staff who go the extra mile for us.

Listens to me without interrupting. Knows when to order tests and when to offer advice and treatment. Always caring.

I have also treated with two other GI specialists in the Phila suburbs and came back to the city and Dr. Kroop - he IS the best!

I have been seeing Dr. Kroop for 31 years with moderate to severe Crohns. My measure of how well he has helped me is that during that time, I have had some minor ancillary surgeries, but have never needed any bowel surgery. My regular visits with him has kept me motivated to do the right things to help myself. Thanks.
