Dr. Howard Alan Kurshenbaum, MD

This person should no longer be practicing medicine! He walked in and without looking at me he was already trying to diagnose me and even started making up symptoms that I do not have. When I asked him to read my medical history I saw him pretend to look at it and then say he did not agree with what two previous specialists had already carefully reviewed. It was extremely obvious that he is putting in 0 effort to practice medicine, he needs to retire NOW. This should be considered as negligent, I am considering contacting Kaiser to report.

I’ve been to him multiple times. Super nice guy. Came in because I needed cryotherapy on a few spots. I’ve been to a ton of different doctors and he has the least steady hand I’ve ever experienced by far. He constantly missed the spot and went way outside the necessary range affecting completely healthy skin. I had to tell him multiple times to use both hands on the cryo gun. Definitely won’t come back to him!

Dr. K is a very good dermatologist who will be thorough and treat you with great kindness during your appointment. I wish I was still with Kaiser just so I could continue to see him. His bedside manner is perfect and he will follow up with you on any procedures with great professionalism.
