Dr. Howard Marc Kurtzman, MD

Dr. Kurtzman has helped me a great deal. I happen to know several other people who go to him and they have the same sentiments. He is extremely talented, engaged, and will sometimes even go over the allotted time (depending on several factors). I’ve seen other psychiatrists and therapist before but this guy really knows how to break through the crap to get to the root of the issue. He’s a great listener, and gives wonderful suggestions/advice/mental tools that help one to help themselves for a lifetime. Some sessions he’s more of a listener, and others he’s more engaged and offers suggestions or insight into what he sees. It depends on what the client needs and wants. I highly recommend giving this doctor a chance to help you or your family.

The worst experience I have ever had! The receptionist was very unprofessional and rude. I have never experienced such rudeness by a "professional" before. They canceled our appointment and when we showed up (not knowing they canceled it) they blamed it on us. She was beyond rude carrying her infant around yelling the whole time and then Dr. Kurtzman doesn't even have the nerve to speak, apologize for his staff, or try to find us another appointment! My whole family is full of doctors and are completely appalled at this situation. We will make sure St. Francis, the Medical Board and all referring physicians (my father is one) are well aware of this horrible experience. Dr. Kurtzman, being a "behaviorial therapist" it seems like you could have taken 5 minutes to resolve this very simple situation in which your receptionist messed up. We are so thankful in the long run that our son did not see you because for a "behaviorial therapist" you certainly do not know how to behave. Very sad… what we have been through and you were supposed to help our child not throw us to the curb because of your own problems.
