Dr. Howard J. Lomax has been a practicing
dentist since 1996. Â After graduating from
Lamar University in 1991 with a Bachelor of
Science in Psychology, he chose to pursue a
career in dentistry. Â In 1996, Dr. Lomax received
his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University
of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. Â
Immediately upon graduation, Dr. Lomax began
as a practicing dentistry in West Houston and
Katy. Â He currently holds membership in the
American Dental Association, the Texas Dental
Association and the Greater Houston Dental
Society. Â Dr. Lomax has given his time and
commitment to the GHDS by serving as a
mediating doctor on the West Houston Peer
Review Committee and by participation in their
annual dental convention as host and class
captain. Â Not only has he utilized his credentials
through his professional organization, but he
has also worked as a consulting dentist for two
dental insurances firms; United Concordia and
Cigna. Â In 2001, Dr. Lomax completed the
requirements …needed to obtain a dental license
in Arizona. Â Dr. Lomax is married to his wife
Lori, whom is a dental hygenist.

I am 73 years old and have had a lot of dental work by a number of dentists over the years. Doctor Lomax by far and away is the best.

I went to Dr Lomax first because he was close and I had a very lose tooth. He saw immediately and gave me a plan. Now 8 months later....I have to say I go to him because his staff and him are the best!!! I am the biggest baby ever when it comes to the dentist but I have overcome that fear with the help of Dr Lomax! I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM!!

Not sure who is actually writing these bad reviews, but both my daughter and I have seen Dr. Lomax for years and love the treatment we receive there. No one actually likes going to the dentist, but he takes excellent care of his patients and truly cares about their well-being. I was having extreme pain early one morning; I showed up to the office just before they opened. With no appointment, he saw me right away because I ended up needing an emergency root canal. I trust Dr. Lomax completely and highly recommend him and his staff to care for you!

We have gone to Dr. Lomax for years and absolutely love him and his nurses. My kids and family have had several things done, cavities, cleanings, etc and all have gone thru without any hitches or negative effects. We will continue to use his services and recommend him to anyone.

This Dentist burned my lips over 10years ago. I still have not recovered from this. Left me with agony and trauma physically and mentally.

Only go here if you only need a cleaning. Don't get work done here. Had to go to another dentist to fix his mistakes. Horrible worst dental experience of my life. Waste of time money and very painful on top of that. I trusted the reviews of health grades but they were all skewed.
