Dr. Howard Mandell, MD

I’m a relatively new patient of his, yet already I give Dr. Mandell high marks. He is courteous, personable, and professional in every regard. Importantly, he has a depth of knowledge, experience and education that makes him an expert in the field of neurology. He is vigorously thorough in his assessment of your condition using all the latest technology at his disposal and his own intelligent and informed judgement as to your specific medical issues. I can attest to his empathy and compassion, as well as his willingness to address concerns and answer questions regarding treatments. I personally know three of his patients who commend him and are highly satisfied with the quality of care he provides and I join them in that assessment. Recently, I had been experiencing unrelenting nerve pain and messaged him about it. Within a couple of hours, I was in his office receiving treatment. Now that’s impressive! I strongly recommend Dr. Mandell for your consideration.

He is the best doctor I have seen in maybe all my 51 years. He looks at you while he asks appropriate questions. You can just tell he genuinely cares for people and finds his specialty fulfilling. He can help people with his skills and he wants and enjoys doing so. He is not turned off if you have feelings like if you breakdown crying due to all the pain,stress and frustration you may be going through. He has been doing this a long time yet has the enthusiasm of a brand new neurologist. He is the best! You will have to wait to see him and may have to wait even if you have an appointment but that’s because he is the BEST and the patient he is with, is the only patient in the world, he takes care of each and every patient 110%!! The BEST is worth waiting for——we all know this old saying is true——I feel blessed to have found him years ago and drive a long way to see him ...always feel I’ve gained answers or at least Compassion and being understood and believed (regarding my pain) I… get a sense of VALIDATION that one needs from their doctor not just from all the various test results I have been hurt so bad by quite a few rude,uncaring, burned out, judge-mental and even $ motivated doctors the take your money and then you are paying to be emotionally & psychologically damaged as well as physically damaged when they make decisions for your healthcare based on kickbacks and bonuses!!! Dr. Mandell is a true doctor living by his oath to do no harm while he consistently goes far beyond all the rest. I don’t know how he manages to not get burned out. He sees so many people in so much distress.... but he manages to keep being the best at bedside manner and brilliant at being a neurologist!

Good Doctor

Dr. Mandell is AMAZING! He doesn’t blow off his patient with some prescription in hand just to get rid of the patient like most doctors do nowadays. He takes time to read the patient’s records thoroughly to make an accuarate diagnosis and arrive at a sensible treatment plan. I am averse to ingesting man-made chemicals of any kind because of their inherent dangerous side effects both physically and psychologically. I avoid going to doctors because even though I tell them I don’t take medications unless I have exhausted other forms of treatment first, they seem to be offended by my refusal to serve as a guinea pig for testing the latest drugs. Dr. Mandell took the time needed to identify my problem, examined me to confirm his hypothesis, and then presented the treatment options available. (Most doctors I’ve ever seen briefly look at my record and prescribe something without providing solid evidence to support their choice of treatment. I’ve even had doctors who tried to make me take… Statins, sedatives, and other drugs that I’ve never needed. When I asked why should I take such drugs if I don’t have the disorders they are supposed to treat such doctors replied “ Just in case!” I find such replies insulting and I quickly change doctors under such circumstances.) Under Dr. Mandell’s intelligent and competent guidance, I was able to make an intelligent decision that should allow my body to heal in a reasonable amount of time without using medications that will create other health problems for me. If only ALL doctors, in ANY specialty were like Dr. Mandell we would be living in a much healthier and happier society.

Dr. Mandell treated a family member of mine and was wonderful. He took time to listen and understand the symptoms. He also called to follow up which we did not expect but greatly appreciated.
