Dr. Howard Brian Maunus, MD

I had a colonoscopy & endoscopy. He took a biopsy from the colon and esophagus from what I understand. He also found diverticulitis which he never told me about. I read it on the report. He stopped to let me know if I'd like to hear what he found, I'd have to make an appointment and he would tell me what was going on with me. Three weeks later, the receptionist called to tell my biopsy's were fine. I asked what made him do a biopsy with her coming back with, oh, I don't know, you'll need an appointment! This was my 3rd colonoscopy and endoscopy by two other doctors and I've never been told to make an appointment to hear what he saw! It sounds like he wants to bill another office visit and I have to pay a specialist copay!! Watch this guy! You are Not his priority.....Money is!!!!!

Dr. Maunus is wonderful. He will take the time to answer all your questions and he even calls patient back after hours himself. He's great. Also want to say that I think every office should have an office manager as caring as Mistee in his office. Nothing but good things to say about this office. I am happy that I found this office after moving to Stuart.

Dr Maunus is a great doctor. He takes the time to explain things to you. His office manager and MA are wonderful. If I think all offices should have an office manager to care about patients as much as Mistee does.

Dr Maunus is the best! He's compassionate, caring, and concerned! He definitely takes pride in what he does for a living. His MA Katina is a doll, she really goes out her way to help you. Awesome doctor and staff.

Great bedside manner. Excellent communicator. Knew everything that was going to happen during surgery. Reviewed all of the procedure with myself and my wife.

This doctor failed to inform me or her other doctors that my mother was in stage four cancer. She needlessly endured pacemaker surgery five months before the cancer took her.

Dr Manaus is not the type of doctor you should go to if you are having any serious GI issues . He will order tests but does NOT follow up with results . Dr Manaus and his staff basically left me out to dry when I was very sick . He put me on a liquid only diet with no help with nutrition . Don't go to him if you have a complex case . I had to learn the hard way . Also Tracy ,the lady who works in there told me over the phone that she just didn't have time to handle my case and she knew that I was so sick that I was bed ridden ! I hope this wards off any heart ache for someone else .
