Dr. Howard Gerald Milstein, MD

First I'm on MediCal and wanted to pay out of pocket to get a good dermatologist. The cost to get a full body scan to check for any skin cancers was $150. What I was expecting was head to toe exam with a gown on. What I received was an exam that was so embarrassing and humiliating. I was told to drop my pants and turn around to both front and back and all he did was glance at my body and then had me lift my shirt to expose my front and back, breast exposed all while the door was cracked open by 3 foot anyone could see me in there. I was concerned about a spot on my lip and had to point it out, I don't think he would have caught that if I hadn't pointed it out. He treated the spot with a laser that was $180. So grand total for a 25 minute was $330. I feel so let down, and not sure how anyone would consider this a thorough exam for skin cancers. This is not my first time getting getting checked, just my first time with Dr. Millstein. I know we're in strange times with COVID, but would… it be too much to ask for a gown and lay me down on a table and go through my entire body to check for any suspicious marks on my body.
