Dr. Howard Jay Perofsky, MD

Though I did research prior, my education about this doctor came too late - after my breast reduction. I should have followed my instincts about the experience I had with the office staff who were rude and seemed down right racist at times. (Someone should inform them you can see and hear through the mirrored window at the desk.) I’m glad that I had the procedure done since it has alleviated back pain, but wish I used a different surgeon. I don’t think any woman wants to publicly post they don’t like their body, but I wish someone had warned me. Now that I’ve healed my fears are confirmed, my breasts look like they have been mutilated. The stich-job looks like it was done with a hacksaw and has left many hard-knotty adhesions that may never go away, and are painful. Nipples are misplaced and my breast have an odd shape to them. I learned through the Emergency room that this doctor’s handywork frequents the ER often. Bedside manner can be overlooked, (even Dr. Perofsky using… “GD” profanity at my husband over a “misunderstanding,”) as long as the doctor does his job. However, with what he did to my breast, I can’t determine if this is a severe level of incompetency, or if it was misogynistic. This experience was so bad I probably wont even allow another physician to correct them. Trying to find another doctor would be a challenge as I’ve learned that some physicians in this area won’t even try to repair his work

Dr. Perofsky was very kind & so was his nurse the entire staff made me feel comfortable & my results aren’t final due to the surgery was very recent but omg! They are everything I’ve dreamt of??????
