I've been seeing Dr.Sachs for many years,best care I've received.

Dr. Sachs has been my PCP for 20 years. He responds to phone messages, returns calls or has a staff member return a phone call. He is always concerned with my well being first and foremost in spite of his crazy workload and schedule. He refers me, when neccessary, to the best in whatever specialty we are dealing with.

Dr. Sachs has been my PCP for more than 10 years and he has at all times provided excellent care. He listens to his patients and is thorough in asking questions that will help him in providing appropriate care. I have never felt rushed in my appointments - he gives me all the time that I need and is clear in explaining his plans/recommendations and the reasons behind them. He is an excellent diagnostician but he is not hesitant about ordering diagnostic tests or referrals to specialists if needed. Because he works in a hospital setting, there are pros and cons to his practice: on the plus side consults and referrals within the system are easily made, as are the arrangements for tests. On the down side, it is sometimes difficult to get through to him as the secretaries are taking messages for many patients for many doctors. On the whole, however, this has not been a problem. Because of my positive experiences with him, he now cares for my spouse and friends.

I hadn't seen a doctor in years. After expressing to Mary Anderson, an intern at Umass under Dr Sachs, all my problems, Dr. Sachs later entered and told me he couldn't help me but could give me the number to the psychology dept. The two insisted I was perfectly healthy and simply over stressed. I later went to Backus Hospital in CT and told them the same problems, they found I have a brain lesion and a herniated discs in my thoracic spine. Careless is an understatement where Dr Sachs and Mary Anderson is concerned.
