Our experiences with Dr Safran and his staff were very reasuring, caring and honest. Although it was a very difficult time, he and his entire staff did their very best to keep us updated with my husband's condition, needs and realistic hopes. I would highly recommend Dr Safran and his team!

The most compassionate doctor I ever met!

I started treatment with Dr. Safran after being diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer, which originated in my colon. He was thorough in his explanation of what my disease was and what needed to be done to stop the growth and spread of the cancer. After a year of treatment, my cancer is in remission. Dr. Safran and his staff were very encouraging and helpful in navigating me through a difficult year. I highly recommend him as a doctor.

Would not recommend Dr. Safran. He cared for a family member - had poor bedside manner, as an oncologist who deals with terminal illness daily I was shocked by his lack of empathy and compassion and poor choice of words. He did not offer a great deal of explanation or information. He pushed his study over other treatment options. Office was an absolute mess - poor communication and multiple errors. We ended up going to Boston and were very pleased by the professionalism of the staff and patient-centered approach to care. Only positive things I could say at all about our experience at Miriam was that the infusion clinic nurses and staff were absolutely fabulous. Other than that - would recommend patients seek treatment options elsewhere.

Caring, compassionate, and creative physician. Always optimistic and willing to try the next best thing to preserve quality of life. Coordinates care with a host of other specialties. Would highly recommend.

Never introduced hisself.Came in with 4 other unknown people he did not introduce.Started giving orders and directions with no explainations which were opposite of what we had already been told.
