Dr. Howard Steven Silverbrand

I have been going to Dr. Silverbrand for 30 years. he is excellent.I have deep cleaning every three months and I am so satisfied with his care and expertise. I would recommend him very highly.

Worst customer service ever. I made an appointment and the reception failed to communicate certain information. When I went for my appointment, the receptionist tells me I have to pay for Xray. I explained I didn't have the money now and that I was unable to pay it. I was upset she left out this information when I schedule the appointment. I called now to make the appointment and first they didn't have my referral. The receptionist said she will call back the same day with an appointment and she didn't call. I had to call back and when I call they wanted to charge me before hand because I didn't have the money the previous time. They said I wasted the periodontist time because I was prepared. I wasn't prepared because the receptionist never said I had to pay for Xrays. I told them I will pay on the day of the appointment. No where in there office does it say that you have to pay before hand. They hung up the phone on me 3 times. They kept passing the phone around saying they were the… manager in charge. I was never really able to speak with the manager in charge or the boss. Referral are not an easy thing to get from your issuance and now I have to wait again because they failed on communicating certain information. I also asked if they charge all their patient before hand and they told me NO! So how is this an office policy. Does it only apply to me because the reception wasted my time and the doctor.

I was examined by Dr. Howard S. Silverbrand a few weeks ago in such an unprofessional manner I was taken back. He was condescending, he did not hide his lack of desire to want to treat me & suggested 3 times I should go back to where I was treated last year. As a diabetic I was aware and updated on my condition and under care from the beginning of this plight. As a periodontics I expected Dr. Silverbrand to treat me and speak to me a professional and caring manner. His words and mannerism left me feeling rejected, embarrass, and cast aside as I left his office. I would never give my money or service to him again. I went elsewhere and was treated with the dignity I deserved. As a patient I was professionally given the status and future advice that was deserving of any human being needing dental assistance. Dr. Silverbrand poor behavior and lack of empathy left me no other choice but to never recommend his services to anyone.

I called to make an inquire about Dr. Howard S. Silverbrand services and the first lady was rude. Put me on hold and pass me to another rude woman. A turn off without get through the door.
