Horrible untrustworthy unprofessional dentist ever and very rude snobby staff

He’s a madman & needs to be stopped! He is hurting patients & doesn’t wear gloves when inserting IVs - he doesn’t care about his patients!

About 25 years ago Dr Sosna extracted three of my wisdom teeth, one normal, one partially impacted and one fully impacted, it went absolutely perfect, now, 25 years later after suffering at the hands of other oral surgeons through rather barbaric and archaic procedures, I broke a molar during this pandemic and required immediate treatment, not very willing to have it dealt with however knowing it had to be I reluctantly attempted to find anyone to treat me, after numerous attempts my wife saw Dr Sosnas listing and I said that is who I want. I called and I had an appointment for that day and in a couple of hours he saw me, gave me the medicine I needed to prepare me and to help with the hellish pain I was in, a few days later he confronted the unenviable task of taking care of me again, bearing in mind I have a nightmarish terror of dentistry, the good doctor made it as quick and painless as possible and now, only a few days later I have almost completely healed. I would recommend… anyone who needs dental work to go to him, if it can be fixed he will fix it, I truly cannot say enough good things about him, again, my experience with Howard Sosna was memorable.

Saw Dr. Sosna a couple of weeks ago to have a wisdom tooth pulled. The office staff was efficient and timely getting me in to see the doctor. I had some trepidation to get the procedure but the root was about to be exposed so I decided to do it. The procedure was surprisingly quick and completely painless. The office staff followed up with me the next day to make sure I was ok, which I was but it is nice to get a follow-up call. I would definitely recommend seeing Dr. Sosna.

If I could leave a 0/5 Star review I would. The doctor is extremely unprofessional and rude. The nursing staff and doctor were bickering the entire time. The front desk is rude. My girlfriend went for wisdom teeth surgery and the doctor gave her a superficial blood clot in her hand and lower arm due to him not removing a tourniquet while administering her a sedative in her hand IV. Doctor tried to brush it off on a follow up appointment and stated, "what do you expect, you had a major surgery". Two hospital trips and 6 weeks later, the blood clot is still healing due to his incompetence. During the surgery, he left a huge gash across my girlfriend's face due to the clamp slipping. After the surgery and coming out of anesthesia, the nurse and staff were extremely impatient and tried rushing her out when she wasn't fully recovered yet. They stated "there's nothing else we can do here, leave" and escorted us out 25 minutes after her surgery. This is the worst experience I've ever had.… STAY FAR AWAY.

First my appointment was at 9:00 and they didn't call me in until 10:30 . Dr. Sosna came in, did not introduce himself or even say hello. He was rude, unprofessional and I would not recommend him to anyone.

My son had 3 wisdom teeth surgically removed and one pulled. He had no swelling with only minor discomfort and was almost completely healed within a week. The day of the extraction, my son's girlfriend came with us and while in the recovery room she passed out and had a seizure. The nurse reacted without missing a beat and the whole staff quickly took control of the situation. Without their quick response, who knows what could've happened. Thank you, Dr. Sosna. You and your staff are wonderful. You come highly recommended from all of us!

My experience with Dr. Sosna has been nothing but excellent. Working out of a satellite office (NJ Family Dentistry), he removed 3 wisdom teeth and the tips to 2 other teeth that had fallen out. From start to finish, he showed nothing but a 5 star degree of all around professionalism, expertise, and service. There were 2 issues that I discussed with him with no issues that will be addressed on my next appointment with him. I highly recommend him.

I have never in my entire life been mistreated by a healthcare professional the way that I have been mistreated by Howard Sosna. From the moment he entered the room, I had a bad vibe about him. He is the most unprofessional, disrespectful person I have ever came in contact with. I recently had a consultation to have my wisdom teeth removed. Upon asking valid questions, I was met with rude and dismissive responses as if I had no right to dare question his procedures. As a patient, I have every right to ask as many questions as I want and considering the fact that I am having a major surgery with potential side effects, he should've done everything he could to make his patient feel comfortable in doing so. After snapping on me for no reason at all, I proceeded to decline his services and immediately left his office in complete outrage. This dentist does not have the right to harass his patients and doesn't deserve to have a license. I am disgusted and appalled at the fact that he is… still practicing. If he behaves this way to your face, who knows what he'll say or do to you while you're under general anesthesia. Do yourself a favor and find a better dentist/oral surgeon. One with a better personality who won't treat you like a second class citizen!

Dr. Sosna is an excellent Oral Surgeon. He took out my wisdom teeth which were severely impacted and gave me great care and comfort afterward.
