Dr. Howard Weiner earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Pittsburgh, where he had also earned his undergraduate degree in Economics. Born in Baltimore and raised on Long Island, Dr. Weiner passed up his original career choice - kitchen design - in favor of his passion for dentistry. He chose Eastman Dental Center in Rochester for his residency, completing the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program - and remaining at Eastman for ten years to serve on the teaching staff.
While teaching at Eastman, Dr. Weiner extended his skills to the community, treating adult patients in rural areas of New York's Allegheny County and at the Brown Square Health Center.
In addition to his work at North Coast Dental Group, Dr. Weiner serves on the boards of Pittsford Crew, an organization that supports youth rowing in the greater Rochester area and the Pittsford Indoor Rowing Center. He is an instrument-rated private pilot, serving on the board of …the local chapter of the Civil Air Patrol - and standing ready to participate in search and rescue missions as needed by the U.S. Air Force. He and his wife, Sue, have three children - the eldest is in the U.S. Air Force, and the younger two are in college.
