I am so happy to have found Dr. Howard Weintraub to monitor my atherosclerosis. Professional, extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and a good listener. My consultation visit was not rushed. He explained everything in detail. He was patient, understanding and kind. I have complete confidence in his opinion and advice about my treatment , He commented on several things that were overlooked by other physicians in reports I brought with me to his office. His advice regarding diet and exercise is something I have wanted to hear from other cardiologists but somehow never did. My questions regarding vitamins and supplements were taken seriously and his answers was explained in detail. I'm happy to say that my quest to find the perfect cardiologist has ended. I've found him.

Bedside manners are atrocious. Since he is an obnoxious pantomath he can not communicate with anyone including other physicians

Met with Dr Weintraub today for the first time. He is possibly the most thorough doctor I have ever met. The time he spent with me incredible. He ordered some tests that previous doctors never mentioned.

Ok, in the beginning he may seem a little gruff, you may have to wait a bit, but so what? He saved my husband's life. He is knowledgable and well respected in his field. He is a no nonsense guy with whom we now share laughs after so many years.

Tunnel vision. Does not take into consideration any other medical issues that a patient may have. In addition, you must follow up on test results as he will not call you. When speaking with him, you are not given the opportunity to ask questions.
