Dr. Hoyeol Yang, MD

Recently I started passing a lot of blood. I called to make an appointment and was scheduled for a couple weeks out. When the bleeding continued I contacted the VA and was told to go to the emergency room. I called Dr Yangs office and they got me in that day. Dr Yang treated me outside his normal hours as his last patient. His care, treatment, and concern were excellent. His staff treated me with respect. Overall it was as good an experience as a person could have when dealing with such a problem. Thank you Dr Yang and staff, well done.

Dr. Yang is extremely arragont he didn’t take my Crohn’s condition seriously enough. He didn’t run the proper tests to determine the severity of my disease. I ended up being life flighted and having 2 surgeries. He knew I had been in the ER locally and never checked to see how I was. My PCP called and asked if he wanted to see me since my disease was obviously progressing and Yang said no. I am now under the care of the head of IBD dept at Virginia Mason. Question him, advocate for your health because he can’t be bothered.

His diagnosis was dead wrong and caused unnecessary surgery. Then he clained that he had never seen me.

Dr Yang is extremely well educated on the whole body as opposed as others that just understand the gastrointestinal part of our bodies. I saw local ER departments on eight different occasions in less than six months; Dr Yang diagnosed and treated me in one visit!

Very effective treatment despite atypical symptoms. Impressed by his thoroughness.

I am so fortunate to find Dr. Yang in my search for a gastric specialist. I moved to Richland 18 years ago and saw two other specialist in this field and have settled on Dr. Yang and his staff to take care of my needs and highly recommend to all.

I am 52 years old, and I have my share of physical complaints. I saw Dr. Yang for an intestinal problem. I explained all my complaints to the Dr. because I didn't know which ones could be related, or not, to this primary ailment. Dr. Yang listened carefully, examined me carefully and put me on treatment. He provided frank, straight forward advice. He let me know what to worry about and just as important to me, what not to. I returned for my check up. My intestinal problem was all better! What I am most happy about is that by taking Dr. Yang's advice, my other complaints have been significantly improved as well. I am living healthier and less stressful because I am following Dr. Yang's treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Yang.

The first time I met Dr. Hoyeol Yang, he made me feel at ease. He came across as a very carrying and concerned doctor. He has excellent bedside manner. His staff is excellent -- easy to communicate with.

I have been a patient of Dr. Yang for 10 years and have had procedures by him in his facility and at Kadlec Hospital. I have always found Dr. Yang and his staff to be very caring and professional. From my experience and observation, patients are not just numbers rushed through the doctor's office--we are given the time with the doctor we feel we need. It's comforting to receive medical care from people who are not only competent but sincerely care.

Keeps me healthy. Hard to get an appointment but worth waiting.
