Dr. Htut Kyaw Win, MD

I went to visit Dr. Win after being recommended by the emergency room after having fainted and broken my nose. I suspect that I have dysautonomia, and Dr. Win brushed off my research and self-testing to prescribe me a medication that in no way alleviated the source of the problem, only treated superficial symptoms in a way that can potentially be more dangerous. His treatment made my problem worse (luckily, stopping the medication should be enough to alleviate that.) He was unwilling to listen, wrote my condition off as primarily a weight/exercise problem and specifically suggested walking (my heartrate often goes to aerobic levels from standing and walking, and being upright is part of what makes the condition worse), talked over me, and was generally dismissive of my desire for testing to achieve a complete diagnosis. His staff was lovely, but I would not recommend Dr. Win at all. In the end, I received second opinions from cardiologists at Baylor Clinic, who confirmed that his… treatment decision was poor and that I'm likely correct in my self-diagnosis. They also promptly moved forward on testing.

My husband was admitted in Methodist sugarland due to chest pain , he had hypertension , stress test positive, family history of heartattack. He did not examined him, not taken any history from us, not wanting to see stress test result. Just looked at his troponin level and cleared him for discharge. He lied to me troponin always high in angina which is not correct. He is not a listener, not answering questions . Pls find another cardiologist who can hear you better.
