Dr. Hua Zhang, MD

Dr. Zhang’s bedside manner and listening skills are lacking. She was my PCP for a few years and every time I had an appt, I dreaded it. No matter what I asked or wanted to discuss, she always brought it back to the BMI chart, regardless of my weight at the time. I’m a rational person and my questions were always reasonable. It was always a fight to get medications filled, and I was accused of no shows multiple times after I had called to cancel or reschedule in advance as needed. She never followed up on things she said she’d monitor, like yearly bloodwork. I’ve had to request that my pharmacy provide a 3-day hold over supply after she randomly denies refills on medications I need daily, not once but FOUR times. She moved offices with very little communication about it. And her receptionist, who followed her from the first office to the next? The rudest person ever. Between the two of them, I always felt like a burden. That’s not quality healthcare. Definitely would not recommend.

I have been trusting Dr. Zhang for over 15 years. She is highly qualified, very personable and attentive. I highly recommend her as a primary care doctor, and you can most always get an appointment when needed.

Dr. Zhang is an outstanding PCP doctor. Dr. Zhang is a very caring and very supportive. She is a great listener and very attentive. After my previous PCP doctor retired from a large hospital, I am very lucky to have come across Dr. Zhang and have her as my PCP doctor. I had some serious pains for quite a long period of time. Dr. Zhang was the first doctor for the past 24 years to finally associate these pains with severe case of endometriosis that was afflicting me. She recommended me to go see a highly experienced OBGYN specialist doctor and indeed it was confirmed that I had severe endometriosis. As a result of the diagnosis, I am now finally getting a major surgery which will alleviate some of these problems that had been impacting my quality of life for the last 3 or 4 years. I highly appreciate Dr. Zhang and her expertise. Addition, her office staff is very helpful and very kind and always willing to help out. Dr. Zhang is very capable PCP doctor and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Zhang is the best, most knowledgeable internist I have ever been to and this is over a 75 year period. She has an honest concern for her patient's health and well being and this comes from my having considerable health care facility experience as well as medical knowledge.
