Dr. Hubert Augustus Johnson, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Johnson’s for over 20 years. He is the best of the best and also saves many lives. He saved mine and my mother’s too. Other doctors were just gonna let her die. He flew into action and bought her a couple more years to live. This doctor is beyond perfection!!! I trust him and he is kind, caring and knowledgeable!!!!

We could not ask for a better surgeon. My husband had serious circulation problems with his vascular disease. Dr Johnson was a miracle worker more than once saving my husbands leg. We were prepared for amputation on more than one occasion! This doctor is highly skilled ! As far as all the negative remarks left for the way he treats his staff - All I can say is that his staff has been with him forever ! Many many years ! If they were treated the way people are saying, they would have left a long time ago ! They must feel like family ... at the end of the day they have high respect for one another! I cannot say enough of Dr Hubert Johnson or his warm and caring staff ! Linda Roberts

I have never felt so rudely treated by a doctor! I have to agree with the other posters here: don't waste your time money or health. Really awful.

Did not like this doctor at all. I felt like he was looking down at me, like I was a loser or a druggy and I felt uncomfortable. I was in pain and he did not care. He acted like he was all in a hurry and also did not speak nice to his assistant. I will not return.

If this is the kind of doctor that Lahey is working with, then I would say it is time to change location. This doctor is haughty and arrogant to his staff, and I can find no reason to see him after the display I got in his office. I was very shocked and got up and left. If he treats his patients better then he is two-faced.

The entire office visit he looked at his watch. He seemed annoyed when I asked him about his experience. The worst part was the way he spoke to one of his staff. Terrible! I will never return, and I am surprised Beverly Hospital tolerates this man. I will never, ever recommend him to any of my friends. He seems far more concerned about himself than me, that's for sure.

I agree with above review about this doctor. Rude and contradicts himself from visit to visit.
