1. If you have Fidelis it DOES cover your eye prescription, don’t pay out of pocket for a piece of paper. 2. The art work alone in a supposedly child friendly office is very unsettling not only for some adults but especially for children. Demonic so to say. If I could post the photos I would but to have dancing devils and skulls/death and creepy monsters isn’t very welcoming to say the least. 3. The doctor himself was friendly, it felt a little rushed but can’t complain too much in that department the nurses n other staff were great. I wouldn’t recommend the place because well “Two each is own”

Today I drove an hour for an appointment, only to be told I needed to be a half an hour early since my daughter was a new patient. I was only about 5 minutes early. The lady behind the desk said didn’t I get an alert to be a half an hour early, I said I did not. She said the doctor came out a few minutes ago & said to cancel my daughter, since we weren’t there. My daughter has special needs & we’ve been to so many doctors over the years, never have I experienced an office that makes an 11am appointment, expects us to be there a half an hour early without notice & cancels 10 minutes before the appointment is scheduled because we aren’t there yet. I have only ever written a handful of reviews, ever & I think this experience deserves a review.

Brought my 1 year old to see him and he was extremely rude and unprofessional. My daughter had Strabismus and told me there was no treatment for her eye condition. He didn’t recommend surgery, even though surgery has been shown to be successful for her diagnosis. He told me that I needed to deal with her being different and that nothing would help her. I left his office in tears and found a much better eye doctor! I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone!!

My brother was recommended to Dr Sauer by his optometrist, Dr Peralta, when surgery was needed for cataract removal. I was overwhelmed with Dr Sayers professionalism, surgical skills and entire handling of our case from beginning to each followup. Indeed a gifted surgeon, professional and brilliant doctor. Anyone who reaches out for his excellent services will be blessed. My brother is developmentally challenged and 63 years old. David now has 20/20 vision in his left eye. How fortunate I have been to been directed to an outstanding doctor.

Dr. Sauer has great bedside manner. My 3 year old struggles with anxiety due to neurological lyme disease and Dr. Sauer was kind patient, caring, and patient with her and with me. Thank you Dr. Sauer.
