Dr. Hugo A Rivera

Dr. Hugo Rivera
Dr. Rivera is a native of the Dominican Republic, where he received his DDS degree from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena (UNPHU). He completed his dental education at the University of Puerto Rico Health Sciences Center and his Pediatric Dental training at Ohio State University at the Nationwide Children's Hospital at Columbus.  During his  Pediatric Dental training he also completed a Fellowship in sedation and dental care for children with special needs. 
Dr. Rivera was a faculty member at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, department of Pediatric Dentistry, prior to joining  our practice in 2009.  He has a Masters Degree in Education and is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
He maintains professional affiliations with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Rivera is fluent in Spanish, English, Portuguese and French.
Dr. …Rivera is married to Massiel and together they have a son, Hugo Alberto.  The Riveras enjoy spending time with the family, participating in sports and traveling and meeting new cultures.
