Dr. Hugo Felix Villar, MD

Dr Villar is a great doctor. He is very kind, caring and comforting. He makes you feel very comfortable, at ease and welcomed. He knows what he's doing and you can tell he loves what he does.

If you value your quality of life do not use this surgeon. He is very rude and you are just a number to him, not a person.

This doctor has the worst bedside manner ever! He is downright rude to female patients. As a surgeon he needs to retire. He misdiagnosed me and his head nurse also did not know what she was doing. I do know he has been sued many times yet it does not show on his reports how is that possible?

This doctor is not only rude to patients and makes snide remarks he sucks as a surgeon. He permantly damages me for the rest of my life emotionally and physically. He would make remarks to me if I didnt start walking he would cut both of my legs off. Plus if you try and sue him you only have 90 days to do so because he is a teaching doctor.

Dr. Villar was insensitive, self-serving and demeaning of women. He performed the most expensive and invasive surgery on me when indications from the radiology report were minor and inconclusive. I did not get a second opinion until after the surgery and that provider was shocked by the treatment I had received. The surgery disfigured my body, and caused months of pain and emotional trauma. And beyond this, Dr. Villar made demeaning comments to me. I complained to the hospital and was told in a meeting that multiple women had also complained about him. I would not recommend him.
