Never follows up. If you have on going issues, he places the blame solely on something you are doing, and never offers any advice, accept for generalized direction (basically common sense advice) doesn't really seem to care, or follow through. Basically thinks an ERCP will cure/correct everything, even if there isn't any direct correlation to back up the exam. His accent is very hard to understand, which makes communication even more complicated.

Avoid this man. There is something wrong with him, like malignant pride. All I asked was that he correct a blatant error in his report. He actually sought retribution for that, fabricating a derogatory report by violating HIPPA confidentiality law for which I am suing him. Be forewarned!

I received outpatient evaluation. I noted a minor correction be made in his report re Interview. At next appt, he refused to see me having taken error correction personally. Nurse put me in exam room anyway. This crackpot began ridiculing & making fun of me in a viscious manner even though I am a disabled former licensed dr. who simply corrected a mistake (which he did correct). It was unbelievable the verbal abuse I sustained. He also dx'd me with liver failure & kidney disease but did no followup. My PCP at JCH dismissed these dx's as invalid. Folks, we need to file complaints to DPR when we are mistreated! Medical schools screen for aptitude, not for character. Demand respect!!!

Very nice visit, hard subject to talk about but Dr. Villarreal made me laugh about it. I felt completely comfortable with this wonderful doctor, and that has been a rare experience for me.

I still have issues with my health that the doctor was unable to figure out. I have seen this doctor a few times and he didn't remember me and he offered to test for stuff. However the tests he offered, I had already done with him. Which goes back to the whole the doctor does not remember or reviewed my case. I will not see this doctor in the future, it is a waste of my time and money. Plus he is hard to understand he has a thick accent.
