She was the best doctor i have ever had.

I had the misfortune of being treated by this uncaring, inept individual in a recent vist to the Rockford Memorial Hospital. I am in severe pain on a daily basis due to back injuries and have been using hydrocodone for nearly 10 years now to combat this pain. The pain is moving down my left leg and has done some apparent damage to my heart. But she would not address the pain or the damage to the heart. Her main concern was the fact that due to the blunders of a previous medical facility that had also hired incompetant staff (the doc. assigned my case was never there, so various and sundry other doctors in the clinic would have to sign off on the monthly perscription for the hydrocodone - making it look very suspicious) she would not provide any medication to relieve the pain. She did not bother to call the other facility to verify what I told her - it was because I have long hair (because I am Native American) that she automatically assumed that I was an addict or a junky and… treated me as such. Her non professionalism and discrimination was very apparant and her lack of compassion was discusting!! This woman should not be allowed to treat patients if she has such disdain for those in pain needing medications. This woman failed miserably in her duties as a health care provider because she did not attempt to improve my health or provide care!! As a matter of fact she went out of her way to perscribe medications that would be detremental to my health because I have HEP C due to a blood tranfusion during a surgery in the 1970's as opposed to helping relieve the pain to reduce the stress and improve my quality of life. She is a disgrace to medicine profession!!!
