Why did you decide to become a physician?
I became a pediatrician because it is such a rewarding field. I have the chance to share with the parents the journey of their child - guiding them through the child’s care, and getting to share the joy of all the milestones achieved.
What do you enjoy most about working with patients?
Not much in life is more rewarding than seeing the relief and ease in patients and their families alike when patients start feeling better.
When did you know you wanted to be a doctor?
As the eldest child, I felt a sense of responsibility for my siblings. This led me to wanting to know how I can best provide and care for them. That thought instilled at a young age the desire to become a pediatrician.
What else would you like to share with our readers?
In addition …to spending time with family and friends, I enjoy travelling, and cycling.
