Dr. Hunt Anderson, MD

I had a heart attack around 8am on Aug 3, called 911 and they arrived in 10-15 mins or so, then 10 mins or so later we were off to WellStar North Fulton Hospital in the ambulance and arrived 15 mins or so later. The ambulance service was in contact with the hospital and when I arrived at the hospital it seemed like 10-15 people were waiting on my arrival including Dr. Anderson and this team which I understand is called the 'cath team", short for catheterization team. They took me in immediately and Dr. Anderson had my issue diagnosed in what seem to be just a couple of minutes. I had 2 blocked arteries, one the "widowmaker" which was 100% blocked and another one that was 50% or so blocked. Dr. Anderson put in 2 stents, basically saving my life. I then was moved to ICU and was released few days later. I am doing great and wanted to let everyone know that Dr. Anderson is a great cardiologist and I would highly recommend him. Praise God and thank you Dr. Anderson!

He was friendly, explained everything clearly & had a very pleasant bedside manner

I was very impressed with Dr. Anderson and his staff! The staff are very efficient and professional.They were also very pleasant and helpful. Dr. Anderson spent more time with me than my old cardiologist. He was very thorough and has the best bedside manner ever. He saved my life!! He is worth waiting for. I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of a wonderful cardiologist!

Thanks to Dr. Anderson's attentiveness to my issue, and thorough examination of results, I was quickly diagnosed from an otherwise life threatening condition. He was able to assess my issue and formulate a plan of action within 48 hours of my initial appointment at his office.

Dr. Anderson is the best doctor I have ever seen. He is my cardiologist but I asked him if he would be my primary care provider as well. It is refreshing to have a doctor that actually cares and spends time. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful working with my busy schedule.

I found Dr. Anderson to be very helpful and easy to talk to. He took his time explaining everything to me. He showed interest in my concerns and very attentive. Also, his staff was very pleasant and helpfull with scheduling my tests. Overall a great experience.
