Dr. Huong Tran Quy, DO

I brought my kids here for only one reason because their doctor was retired and referred them to Dr. Huong Quy. I called this clinic yesterday to ask her about my son’s lab results, but all I heard was a bunch of the receptionists at the front desk told me that doctor was busy and the results were good nothing to concern even though these staffs were not knowledgeable about the lab works. I requested to talk to Dr. Quy, after business hour , but they refused and said doctor didn’t want to talk to you because she had no time . They said the only time she could talk to you was you had to make an appointment to see doctor in person. I told them that I am a full time single mom working person. If I have to come in to see her for only to know about the lab results of my son was just a waste of my whole day off from work, but the doctor didn’t care. I Decided To come to see the doctor this morning. When I come in, all I heard from the doctor was the yelling and raising voice at me… “you know what you bothered my time so much only about the lab results , but you wanted to talk to me and I told my staffs to tell you already nothing to talk about”. OMG… I was so shocked and told her none of the doctors ever talked to a patient like you. I came in to ask you if my son needs to continue taking VitaminD or not because your staffs were not knowledgeable about medicine or my son health condition so they couldn’t answer my questions. She continued and said I have never requested Vitamin D lab works for the patients and if you want to give to your son just go ahead. I told her that you are a doctor how could you advised me kept giving my son vitamin D without a blood test to see if he really needed it or not. Luckily , I am working in the health field too as I know taking too much Vitamin D will lead to increase the level of calcium in your blood and will lead to hyperthyroidism . I tried to correct this doctor by saying we are both working in the health care. We have to help patients instead of harming the patients. She didn’t respond to my comments and tried to kick me out of her clinic by asking a rude question with attitude “ anything else and if you were not happy about my services, go somewhere else” I totally regretted to take my kids to this horrible doctor. Parents please be cautious about this doctor. She could harm your children’s health if you guys are not familiar with lab works and she gave you guys the wrong advices just like she did to me. Please stay away from this doctor. She was all about money and had no heart for the patients.

Take huge caution going to this Doctor! She treats her patients very unprofessionally and does not care about her patients. The staff are also rude and mean. Take your money elsewhere!
