Dr. Hursie Jean Davis Sullivan, MD

Dr. Sullivan is a very knowledgeable doctor with outstanding bedside manners. It is extremely difficult reaching her administrative staff to schedule appts., following-up with referrals as they do not return calls or answer the telephone, voicemail is aways full, etc. My nephew who is disabled saw Dr. Sullivan on April 25, 2023. A referral from her office still has not been sent to another provider for service.

The office staff does not have any customer service or people skills. Dr. Sullivan is not on staff at a hospital in the Jackson area. My mother in law went to the office as a walk-in patient, Dr. Sullivan is her normal G.P. Dr. Sullivan has all of her medical /prescription information on file. My mother in law (86) had a light cough took her to Dr. Sullivan's office as told could not see her due to the fact she didn't have her prescription bottles. ( Dr. Sullivan wrote these prescriptions on record in her office) My mother in law was taken to MEA the following day a chest x-ray was done and a problem has been detected. We even had issues with Dr. Sullivan's office as a referring physician. Now all of a sudden she wants to see my mother in law. I made an appointment with the MEA referral with a doctor on staff at the Baptist Hospital without an issue or having to see Dr. Sullivan. Think twice before visiting this clinic ...

My visits have been great. Dr. Sullivan is someone that cares about her patients. She does not just prescribe you medicaine, but discusses preventive measures to help your concerns. I have been very pleased with the staff, the office environment and her as my family physician. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a caring & compassionate doctor.

i was looking for a new doctor and you read like the perfect doctor that fits who i am looking for but unfortunately after reading the review about camilla, sorry, i will have to keep looking.

I've contemplated changing my primary physician because of the front desk receptionist's (Camille) awful attitude. Regardless of how kind your approach is with her, her demeanor is unfriendly, unpleasant and at times, outright rude. She needs a course in customer service if she plans to continue to work in this type of setting.

Sullivan has the best attitude of all the Doctors t have visited, Diagnosis were accurate.

The services offered by Dr. Hursie and her nurses were ALWAYS professional, caring, outstanding, compassionate and amazing! The awful downside it the receptionist is a gatekeeper and argues with you about stuff she gets paid to do.......My blood pressure has gone up 18 times in the last 5 years when calling into the office trying to medical assistance. I even apologized in person the first time the argument occurred over the phone but the receptionist continues to have a very arrogant attitude and extremely tacky customer service!!!!!!!!
