Air Force for seven years before starting his dental practice in Orlando in 1964. Dr. McCorkle and his wife, Nancy, have been married over fifty years. They have three children and eight grandchildren. Their oldest son, Dr. Michael McCorkle, has been practicing with his father for over twenty years.
Dr. McCorkle is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, past President of the Dental Society of Greater Orlando, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Florida Academy of Dental Practice Administration, the International College of Dentists, and the College of Dentists.
Dr. McCorkle has completed additional studies on Occlusion at the Pankey Institute of Advanced Dental Education, the University of Florida under Dr. Parker Mahan, and Dr. Peter Dawson Occlusion Seminars. He is presently …serving a four year appointment to the Council for Annual Sessions for the national meetings of the American Dental Association.
