Dr. Huy Ngoc Dao, DO

Dr. Doa has done great job performing my colon resection procedure using minimum invasive technology (using camera and few small incisions through the abdomen), which resulted in minimum pain and speedy recovery. He always took the time before and after the procedure to explain what's expected. He is truly skilful surgent and up to date in his field.

Dr Dao was not only very patient and explained everything very well but also did not come across as arrogant. Most doctors I have had to deal with are quick to give you their opinion and could care less about what you have to say. Not Dr Dao. He was not rushed and paid attention to what I had to say. 5 stars for sure.

Not your average specialists visit. From my initial contact from them til today couldn't ask for more caring kind professionals. Dr. was not your typical stuck on himself specialist. Can't say enough for my overall satisfaction. Would recommend to anyone!!

Excellent physician

I had a hernia surgery at 18 yrs. old and have a 6" scar from it. I remember having a lot of soreness and pain.Now at 45 i have a double hernia. Dr. Dao only made a few half inch incisions to repair the double hernia and i had very little pain at all. The soreness was also way less than my previous surgery at 18.Dr. Dao's surgical skills and office are excellent and i would highly recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Dao is such an awesome doctor. He makes sure the patient understands all procedures and what is going on with them in simple to understand language. I didn't know anything about him but after having 3 hernias repaired by him, I highly recommend him. Also, after talking to various nurses I would never hesitate to send family and friends to him. All nurses spoke highly of him and stated how dedicated and talented he was. I am thankful that he was my doctor and appreciate his patience in explaining everything so clearly. His staff is AMAZING also. I've never had such a caring doctor and I'm thankful that he's in our area!

I had a Nissen Fundoplacation performed by Dr. Dao. I have had acid reflux since the 1970's and have used every prescription pill out there to get relief. They worked for a while, gradually needing the strength to be increased. I was up to using 2 Protonix a day (as per my regular Physician's orders) to no avail. I was finally sent to Dr. Dao and found him to be polite and extremely knowledgeable. He explained to me there is a surgical procedure to end the reflux! Dr. Dao explained fully how he would laproscopically tighten my stomach around the esophagus. He is the only Dr in the tri-county area that does not perform a full open stomach procedure. I am 3 weeks out and while still taking food in slowly, I can eat whatever I wish!! No more reflux at all! If you suffer from GERD, I highly recommend Dr. Dao be consulted! His staff is very courteous and friendly. The competence of Dr. Dao is second to none!
