Worst experience ever!!! Would give negative stars if I could!!! Went to Kim Dental Care to get a partial denture. It did not fit properly causing one of the metal clasps to fall out into my mouth. Fortunately I did not swallow it as it could have caused serious problems as it was quite sharp! I took it back to Dr. Kim who took a new impression and sent both (I assume) the new impression and the partial. Upon returning to get what I expected to be a properly fitting partial, I found out that it was the same partial and they merely reattached the clasp making them fit worse than before! They were extremely crooked and looked and felt horrible. However he did not think that anything was wrong. He said that he would contact the lab. When I called back, I was informed that he was just going to refund the cost leaving me to wait for the refund to get to my insurance company before I could even find a new dentist as it maxed out my coverage. It has been three weeks and they still haven't… issued the refund Leaving me with missing teeth!

If you value your tooth, you should look elsewhere for dental health. Keep in mind this dentist offers rewards for patients to write in reviews. I've maxed out my benefits 3 years in a row ($3k+), and the 3 main teeth worked on are in even worse condition. One tooth needed a simple filling redone. On my way home I noticed a big lip (like a shelf) on it. My wife said to call as food will snag. Sure enough within a day this happens and it comes out. Dr. Kim said it needs a crown before even looking at it again. I get a crown (he yanks the temp crown off without numbing; painful). An abscess forms and I am in pain. His response? A root canal (through the crown). He tells me this without even looking at the x-ray or tooth. I get a root canal, pain is still is there. Abscess still there. I get a 2nd opinion. I'm told the crown does not fit correctly and a gap is causing food to get trapped. The picture shown to me shows an easily identifiable gap. X-rays I requested from Dr. Kim show no… root canal was needed. So now I had a filling, crown, and root canal (THROUGH THE CROWN). What does Dr. Kim do? He wants to pull an old filling from the tooth next to it and make the filling bigger to cover the gap. I'm so frustrated I agree. He rushes through the procedure, leaving old amalgam flakes in with the new white filling. He filled the gap and the abscess cleared. This filling came out a month later. Now I have two messed up teeth. I'll need to pay for a new crown and new filling (every time I have brought an issue up, Dr. Kim notes something else as a reason and a new billable appointment for it). Tooth #2: He tells me I need a new crown on a back molar. Ok. I get this done and the temp crown falls off three times. He is kind enough to do a new temp asap. This temp however literally fell off on the drive home. New crown comes in, does not fit, and like the tooth above pain begins. They order a new crown. He started this tooth in between sessions for the first tooth ordeal above. I certainly was not going to repeat what happened when I felt pain, so I went to a specialist. Unlike the other tooth this one did need a root canal. This meant that since Dr. Kim already did a crown, I'll need to redo the crown after the root canal. See the picture? Gives a root canal when one isn't needed, and then does a crown when one is needed. Well, the crown falls off yet again before I can get in for it to be redone. Dr. Kim tells me the crown directly below it also needs to be redone as the concrete washed out under it (first crown he ever did, 1 of 3). Quickly tells me he did not do this crown, or he would cover it. Luckily, I had proof he did do this crown and billed it as another tooth (keep your records), and after many visits with all my paperwork, got him to redo it. He even tried to tell me he did an all porcelain tooth and it could not be it since it is porcelain on metal that he saw in my mouth. So he either charged me for full porcelain and gave a porcelain on metal, or billed the wrong tooth. Again, luckily, this did no matter as I have all dental records from every visit since I was 8 (including x-rays) and had proof. If I didn't, he would have fought this to the end and bill me for a new crown. The next problem is he molded the new crown with the above tooth WHILE missing the temp crown. So guess what? The new crown is massively tall and the tooth above has no margin now for a crown (I literally have a core without any protection/temp crown there). I finally gave up and I'm going to eat thousands of dollars to go elsewhere for my teeth. Needless to say I found a new dentist. My idiocy thought every time I went in to Dr. Kim one tooth would finally get resolved or head in the right direction. On a side note, he did swing his dental chair into my head one visit. I was surprised but really did not care. The dental assistant (who is awesome), called him out on it and he ignored it. Very prideful man. Do yourself a favor and stay away. I'm only 32 and these 3 tooth make it seem like my mouth is a pit of despair.
