Dr. Hyunsuk Suh, MD

I recently had surgery with dr. Suh. He's an excellent surgeon and treats his patients kindly and respectfully. His office assistant is also excellent, gets back to you and is very friendly.

I came to Beth Israel at midnight with extreme abdominal pain. Dr. Suh visited early in the morning. And explained the problem and what will be done. He was very patient, answered all my questions and it seemed as if he would stay until I was satisfied. He never said "I", but always referred to his team. He is a most skillful laparoscopic surgeon. The scars are very small, almost invisible. Months later, I had gall stones. An assisting physician wanted to do a conventional surgery, but Dr. Suh overrode him. I still have my gall bladder. He told me that I've had enough operations and added "I always put the interest of and what's best for my patients first". His staff feels very privileged to be a member of his team. The nursing staff was also excellent.
