I regret bringing my child to these providers!! And I can only hope this will help other parents and children! My child had a tonsillectomy and adenoids removed. Post op there were no PRN pain medications prescribed, my child was screaming for an hour trying to put a bandaid in his mouth because of the pain. And a child isn’t suppose to be screaming that long especially just having surgery on his throat! The doctor never came and informed us how the surgery went. I didn’t even know he got antibiotics until the pharmacy called, plus I didn’t know what they were for or why he needed them!Nothing! My child’s pain was so uncontrolled he could not eat or drink. We had to go to the ER 2 days later for pain control and hydration. Then My child hemorrhaged 2 days later. I feel if my child would have had better managed post op care and pain control it would have allowed me to get on top of his pain so I could better manage it and would have been prevented! Please protect your child and find… better providers!!
