Dr Ian J. Logan, MD

I've had varying experiences with GI doctors, but I was lucky to find Dr. Logan and work with him throughout my 5 years in Davis. He's the best GI doc I've worked with, because he really listens and works with me. He's smart, informed, kind, generous with his time, and really cares. My Crohn's has been very difficult to treat and he has been on top of my care always. It can sometimes feel difficult to get an appointment because he is so popular, but once I established care, they always made sure I got seen quickly when I needed it. Just make sure to utilize messaging and call the office, they are very responsive.

Dr. Logan is excellent. He is kind, compassionate, and listens and addresses all of your concerns. He is an excellent diagnostician and I trust him completely, which I don’t say lightly. He is the kind of doctor that others should strive to be more like. I can’t say enough good about him.

I have been his patient for upper track, and also for lower tract. On both his treatment of my concerns and needs were fully discussed and plainly explained. I was very pleased with his observation of my body conditions, and his plan for treatment, which has proven to very accurate. I am very pleased to recommend him to any of my friends. HH

I am usually weary of seeing a young doctor, but Dr. Logan is amazing. Unlike most doctors, he recognizes that psychology can influence health and knows how to look at every aspect of his patients and establish a connection. He also recognizes that although certain GI exams are general protocol, sometimes it's just too expensive or unhealthy and he offers several options in order to best fit the needs of the patient. Best doctor ever.

I can't say enough about the care I received from Dr. Logan during a Crohns flare up. The office personnel were competent, listened, they were caring, prompt in responding and scheduling. His diagnoses was accurate, he took the time to explain options, listened and addressed my concerns, and his follow up was beyond expectations. The care I received from Dr. Logan was outstanding.
