He also completed a one-year general surgery internship at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey.
He has authored many scientific articles and a book chapter on maxillofacial trauma.  He has extensive experience with bone grafting and implant placement and has placed over 2000 dental implants.   He was recently selected by his peers as one of San Diego's "topDentists" for 2011.Â
