Dr. Ian Weiner, MD

I am not a review writer, but this jerk is a crook masquerading as a Dr., and a real shame to the profession. The W/C could probably pay him to screw his mom. If I could give him 5 negative stars he’d have them, him and his staff. I really think the positive reviews on here, they collaborated and wrote.

The worse doctor I have ever seen. Rude arrogant. He asked questions but did not allow to answer fully. He took personal phone calls on his cell phone. He is paid by insurance companies to deny treatment to injured workers. His exam lasted 2 minutes and he was rough.

I tore my achilles tendon doing box jumps at a crossfit gym. I am an RN, so was very particular on what surgeon to use. Dr. Weiner was there for me every step of the way over this long recovery process of a year. I was an awful patient- very anxious and calling him with questions nonstop. I came into his office crying several times over frustration, and he spend time with me to calm me down and listen to every concern I had. He was there for me every step of the way, and really had my best interest at heart. He is an amazing surgeon and very knowledgeable. He has excellent bedside manner and really cares about his patients. I recommend Dr, Wiener to anyone going through this injury and any type of orthopedic injury. Thank you so much for everything you did for me, doc! I'll be seeing you around!!

Just be prepared, he's not nice, takes calls on his cell phone during the exam, and has a very curt demeanor. Went to several doctors and was misdiagnosed until I was seen by Dr. Weiner. He actually spent time looking at the MRI's to make an accurate diagnosis. No other doctors took the amount of time he did with the MRI's.

Due to sever Achilles tendonitis, I was unable to walk. Dr. Weiner worked with me, providing a succession of appropriate treatment options and supporting my decisions. I had to have surgery to repair the problem and Dr. Weiner provided the most professional and caring treatment through my surgery and recovery. I am now able to walk and I am thrilled. I am thankful to have had Dr. Weiner as my physician. I would use him again without hesitation and would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Weiner has been amazing! 5STARS Amazing! I was scared going into my surgery, which he disspelled easily and at my level. I am recovered and loving being back on two feet. I would recommend Dr. Weiner highly. The practice is well managed.

I went to ortho-md to get my foot and ankle repaired. Once I got to the exam room where I met the doctor, the first thing out of his mouth was you were here 6 years ago for the same problem. Had I remembered I would not have gone back to ortho-md. After that had been established, his attitude became disrespectful. He constantly interrupted my visit with phone calls, and interruptions from his staff, that seem as if they were in some type of trans. As the visit progressed, he had problems with letting the pass go, and focus on the current situation. I still tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it didn't work out. He sent me for Mri, knowing he was not going to help me with my situation. He asked me to call him, and I did, it took him 3 days to return my call, when he returned my call, he was very childish in making remarks about speaking Swahili. He then asked me to contact his surgical secretary, I called her several times, she could never get his schedule from him to set… a date for surgery. I know he told her not to return my calls or set a date to do surgery on my foot and ankle. So it's not if he is a good doctor, he is a pitiful man. If you don't want to do something say so. Don't hide behind the white coat.

Ian Weiner is a terrific doctor, but it's his staff that I rave about. Very prompt, very professional, but also with a sense of humor.

Dr. Weiner diagnosed my foot problem and clearly explained my options. I am 6 weeks post-surgery today and walking as if I had never had surgery. He is friendly, informative, and listens carefully to explain any concerns.

I phoned ahead looking for a doctor that could remedy my broken foot. They assured me that I could. Dr. Weiner spent 2 minutes in the room with me, took off the temporary that the hospital put on. Tried to up-charge me on equipment (hundreds of dollars beyond what I was quoted) and then allowed me to leave without any wheelchair assistance with my foot unwrapped. I was in better shape before I came in and had more money in my pocket. I would never suggest that anyone go to him, he is very incompetent and his fees are egregious! Run while you still can.
