Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Elgabry, MD

Saw him a couple of years ago after being rushed to the hospital, he did tests said all was good but blood pressure to thigh and high heart rate with no reason for high heart rate, did a stress test immediately after test BP went through the roof gave me 2 nitro pills to bring it down said all was fine never documenting the pills! Currently went to hospital for a test where the lady said she felt I had a blockage, he turned around and actually called my primary and told her all test were good but wanted to follow up with me. No one ever asked me just so I find out after his office called to make an appointment. Days later after I freaked out about him spear heading patients to his private practice from the hospital without get to g patients ok is crooked, also my primary called freaking out because while he told her the test was fine when she received the actual results she found he lied and all was not good! Stay away from him!

Saved my life several times. Wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Sr Elgabry. The best Cardiologist. Have has several cardio versions, CHF and Atril Fribulation, saved my life. Can't say enough about him.

We appreciate Dr Elgabry for seeing our dad last minute but we have to wonder where his priorities are. He saw our dad, scheduled multiple tests and placed him on medication (with little explanation). After a week or so after, my dad was brought to the ER as he got dizzy. He saw many doctors, PA, nurses and they ran the same tests as Dr Elgabry and still NO answers. The doctor was supposed to come visit my dad and review everything and he eventually came very early the second day. We were expecting calls from the doctor and never received any. Again, no info. Last night, my dad was rushed back to the doctor (we opted for a second opinion) and our new cardiologist found my dad was over medicated, to the point where his heart was stopping! I am baffled that neither Dr Algabry or the hospital noticed this. I have to wonder if doctors really care anymore or is it about the money. On a side note, It would be helpful if more people left reviews for others to read instead of giving… a rating.

Great Dr. VERY thorough in his approach. He may send you for what seems like unnecessary testing but he wants all available information on which to base his decisions.
