Dr. Ibrahim Faruqi, MD

Dr. Faruqi took time on a busy day for my first appointment and scheduled our next appointment at the end of a full workday. That's a dedicated physician! I like his honest and matter of fact way of communicating. I'm 85 years old but he treated me like a peer. He's a top-notch specialist in lung diseases and I feel lucky to have him as part of my treatment team.

Only saw him once, and that was the worst doctor's visit I have ever had in my life. Told me that prednisone was the only treatment for my lung condition, absolutely refused to even talk about symptom management. Was in my room for less than 5 minutes, gave no useful information or medical attention. A complete waste of time AND money. A poor excuse for a doctor. I wish I could give him zero stars.

Only saw him once, he was completely indifferent to my lung condition. Told me that prednisone was the only treatment, did not care about any symptom management. Then charged an astronomical amount for visit. I regret I wasted my time and money. If he hates patients so much, he needs to quit being a doctor. Would give him zero stars if this app would let me.

No follow up scared the patient with lung cancer and then changed notes. Then bullied by UF health a Ms Gibbs who read a totally different office note we have the first. We meaning me as the patients spouse we ask for a referal to a toracic surgeon for a lung biopsy, this Doctor infront of me, the patient and our son said You will have lung cancer, not if but when it will be in fourth stage. Well when I ask for a referral I was bullied by the CEO administration Ms Gibbs. Then she read a different office note that was done three and half weeks later.. are we concerned anyone would be. Shame in him and UF health

Took no time . No follow up after did not want to be in clinical trial. Put on high dose prednosobe and never even called to check. Sorry u went up there at all. Had to taper prednusine and go elsewhere to even get diagnosis!
