I was referred to the doctor to get an opinion on whether it is necessary to continue to monitor a cyst (which was - for a moment last fall - thought to be a problem, but no longer appears to be.) He seemed very familiar with my case and details of my medical history (lab work, radiology, etc.) Best of all, he made a clear recommendation for the future plan instead of leaving me to wonder. He said he thought about calling me to just cover it over the phone. I wish he would have because I drove 40+ minutes to get there! Still, it was very nice to meet him in person and I feel greatly reassured by his confidence and competence.

Dr. Hanouneh is a very intelligent doctor for my Cirrhosis. he has treated me with upmost care & how it will benefit me. I wish I could see him more often for my Cirrhosis.

Very happy with Dr. Hanouneh so far. He's easy to talk with, and it feels like he's really listening and thinking things through. This feels more like a partnership than what I've had with other providers I've seen for this condition. Dr. Hanouneh came highly recommended by other AIH patients in this area, and I can see why.
