Dr. Idil Ezhuthachan, MD

I have been to other allergists before and they have no time to properly investigate my health issues. On the other hand, Dr. Ezhuthachan is very prompt, very thorough, and takes the takes time to answer any questions. On several visits, she explained my health condition based on tests that she had ordered. She is great at diagnosing and during the pandemic we had telehealth visits too. She is the first doctor that I feel I can trust as she welcomes a patient's input (unlike other doctors). Most of all, my symptoms have improved and she boosted my confidence in taking the Covid-19 vaccine which I had been very anxious about. I have recommended 2 friends to her and both of them are very satisfied. I wish there were more pleasant, patient and diagnostically smart doctors like her!

Idil D Ezhuthachan, MD This Doctor, while pleasant and affable - has NO RESPECT for her patients time. I had two visits with her, and both times . . . she was a "no show" for almost an hour. On the second appointment, a procedure, SHE had (during our first meeting) emphasized the importance of MY arriving 15 minutes EARLY for the procedure. So, my wife and I awoke at 5:30 AM to make certain we would arrive at her office by 8:45 A.M. promptly. And, we did. We were there, on time, as she had requested. SHE did NOT make an appearance in the examining room until 9:50 A.M. and (that) was ONLY because I had advised one of the PA's (walking around) that if she (the doctor) did not show up by 10 A.M. I was "outta here" ! She preceded to make the usual (oh, I had this, that, and the other to attend to) excuses for being RUDELY late. But, bottom line was/is, she's just part of (and coconspirator to) a system, and medical practice, that has NO RESPECT, or caring, for the value of the… patient's (THAT'S YOU) time! So, after expressing my resentment for HER rude and inconsiderate mistreatment of myself, and my wife, I JUST . . . WALKED OUT! No procedure, just walked out! So perspective patient . . . you've been forewarned - If YOU value YOUR time, and expect the medical professionals you deal with - to actually respect YOUR time, as much as they respect their own . . . then FIND yourself {ANOTHER} ALLERGIST. PERIOD!
