Dr. Ifechukwude Onyeoba Ojugbeli, MD

Dr Ojugbeli has been my primary care doctor for about 8 years now and he’s an excellent physician who listens, is empathetic, and understands the conditions he treats & drugs he prescribes. In fact he figured out what was wrong with with me when the head of the department of neurology at Upstate University completely missed it…and it was Dr Ojugbeli who explained the nuances in my condition which were the defining features of it, and gave me the prescription that helped me. Sadly because of the way the insurance system is set up, I had to see a series of dr’s ending up w/neurology & that failed visit, I suffered in extreme pain for about a year & 1/2. But Dr Ojugbeli came to the rescue. He is such a kind hearted, humane, and extremely intelligent man, who’s aim is to help. I believe the negative reviews posted here belong to a different Dr, especially since another name is mentioned, and the behaviors described are completely foreign to Dr. Ojugbeli. I’ve seen Dr Ojugbeli when he was… exhausted from lack of sleep, rushed, not feeling well, stressed, and he was never rude or badly behaved toward me or anyone on his staff…and his staff absolutely love him. It’s too bad these bad reviews can’t be checked for accuracy to who they were intended and removed.

This was not good.. Nurse was rude. Receptionist waiting peering out the window for the next patient. Doctor was not introduced. Saw weird PA who was old and nasty. No bedside manner. Did not seem good.

I don't know how that kind of inhumanity and brutal person could be come a doctor in this country.

Wait time is very long, he seems like he's not listening to you. Not sure when you should ask a question because he's always dictating to nurse, and doesn't ask how you are or if you have any questions. Forgets to call in prescriptions a lot of the time. It's usually when there is a holiday coming up and it takes hours to get ahold of him even though you just saw him in the office for a doctor visit. He shouldn't overbook, which I know he does because I heard the receptionist say it, so that's why it's always a long wait , two people are put into a 15 minute slot.

Not a good place to have as PCP. Front desk is not friendly, doctor forgets to send prescription often, every time doctor asks the old questions because of not reading about you before seeing you or not remembering you, waiting time can reach to 90 minutes sometimes, they think as you are not in medical profession, you don't know anything.

Wait time is ridiculous. I have waited over an hour multiple times. Yes I look at time from getting in room until seen by the doctor not the nurse because usually they take you in. I was so mad one time I almost walked out and left. Doesn't happen all the time but wait a lot of times

I love and respect my Doctor the BEST I ever had. A Doctor who cares!!

The head of the practice likes to misprescribe antibiotics. Not to just myself but a family member too. Dr Steinberg failed to diagnose a very serious medical condition I just found out about on my own through a little online searching and serious symptoms. I had blood work done while seeing both doctors. Which should have shown the condition that I did. It know about until today. These doctors are scared to tell their patients the truth, go elsewhere.

Wow! He really cares and is willing to put in the time to get to the bottom of your issues.
