Dr. Iftikhar Ali, MD

The wait time is horrible. An appointment means nothing because of the overbooking. I have had 3 incidents where my pharmacy could not get an authorization to refill my maintenance medicine, even though I had scheduled appointments. There is NO communication between his office staff, i.e., the same prescription being called in to two pharmacies. I was billed for six months for services that I NEVER received. I think this is a money-grabbing doctor and IF he isn't careful, he is going to medically harm a patient, if he hasn't already done so. I am now very uneasy and have no confidence in this doctor or his staff.

The best doctor I''ve been to so far. I'm 84 yrs old & have been seeing Dr Ali's for several years. My only negative comment might be waiting time a little slow..

Very money oriented. Makes you come back to get any lab or test results. Runs too many tests then hands you off to a ignorant nurse practitioner who doesn’t even familiarize themselves with your case.

He canceled my wife after 20 years with no reason.

My mother and dad which are in the 80s go to this doctor and he has them coming in for everything. If they need anything they have to see him for the office visit. If they have blood work done they have to see him for the results. If they need prescriptions they have to see him for the refill. He is sucking Medicare dry. And these 80-year-old people are driving 60 miles rd trip for him to ding them for an office call for every need and prescribes medication in access. It is all about the money for his pocket. They wait anywhere’s from2 to 3 hours!!!! Ridiculous....

Treats patients terrible. Over charges you. Long waits and really doesn't care about you just wants your money! Please select another doctor! Wait times are more like 2 hours.

I waited 6 weeks to see Dr. Ali. Saw his Nurse Prac. Said I would see dr next time, but I saw her again. Was told I didn't need appt for a refill and then denied refill because I hadn't had an appointment.

Dr Ali was my Dr for many years. I moved to CA last year. I knew my Dr was a very good Dr and I appreciated him very much. I didn't realize what a rare find I had in Dr Ali until I had to find another. He goes above and beyond what his job is. He actually cares about his patients. He takes time to make sure you completely understand what is going on with your health. He listens. He will work with you to find what you are comfortable with in your own care. His staff are very friendly and caring as well. I am considering a move back to Joplin, MO and he is a big reason for that decision. I miss him and everyone in his office terribly.
