He doesn't spend adequate time with you. The staff is also not up to par. They cant complete small tasks correctly.He gave me a huge panel of blood work and did not even ask why I was there even though I informed staff of my issue. He quickly saw me and ran out of the room I had to chase him to tell him my issue. The blood work he wrote for me was inappropriate, but how would he know he since he didn't even ask why I was there. A lot of unnecessary blood work. When I called to complain the "manager" and front desk people were NASTY to me. Treated me like garbage and only apologized when I mentioned they didn't provide me customer service and a simple I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience would have helped. Office is old, dusty and you can tell they don't put any money towards trying to have a nice, comfortable appearance. Doc also had weird small talk when he could be asking you whats wrong

I had an appointment for an ear infection that I had seen an emergency doctor for as "an emergency", was given meds an recommended to see my GP. When I told "Dr." Ignacio Salzman I had seen the emergency doctor , he immediately caught and attitude and was dismissive to my concern about my right ear (where I had the problem), looked at the left ear told me to go get blood work done. When I told him he hadn't even looked at the correct ear and that I had a question about another concern. He said "no were done you can leave now" I laughed thinking he was joking but he opened the door and walked out. I have never experienced anything like this and will never go back to that small minded arrogant so called doctor again. I have also opened a complained with my insurance not to pay the visit as it was incomplete, inconclusive, a waste of time with nothing gained from it! This man who calls himself a doctor should go back to school and relearn basic bedside manners and humanity! Patient be… aware your doctor doesn't have to make you feel like crap … your already seeing him for the purpose of not feel well.

My name's Laura. Me and my husband have been patients of Dr. Salzman for the last 10 years and he's not once let us down. One of the few who focuses on the patient's problem and not how much he can make out of a critical situation.

Today was my first time visiting and he was amazing. So far so good. I will def recommend him.

He is very rude, horrible bedside manner.

I went there for a physical the entire consultation took 5 minutes, just asked 4 quick questions and showed me the door so he can fleece another prey. I know he is there to make profit but this guy is a rip off!!! Then he has the nerve to solicit me for another appointment 3 times and 3 times I cussed the doctor and his awful practice and they are still calling!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Went in for a yearly physical in Nov 2014 to this doctor for the first time and he did not do physical except chit chat and even after mentioning that I am having some problem with prostate, he did not bother to do the physical, he gave a prescription to do the blood test. He refused to do the physical, he said once the blood results are in, he will do the physical. I Went in 3 weeks later and he explained the results and he prescribed me low dose blood pressure med and to lower cholestrol and asked me to come back in 6 weeks. My wife and I looked at him and asked him what about the physical that he supposed to do, he said oh ok...lets do that. OH OK LETS DO THAT !! I had a swollen and infected prostate and he prescribed a medicine that was suppose to be given after the infection was gone. I was having a great difficulty using the restroom and having a lot of blood discharge, I decided to make an appointment to go see a specialist and was told that the medicine Dr. Salzman… prescribed was not for the infection, but to be given after the infection was gone. I have been suffering with this since my first visit with doctor Salzman which was in Nov...He took it very lightly and if my problem gets worse, he is definitely the one to blame because it could have been prevented when I first went in for a physical if he had done the physical or the second time when I insisted on having a physical, he chose to prescribe a med that would not take care of the infection. It took me a month to see the Specialist. I will never seeDr Salzman face again and will make sure none of my friends ever become his patients.

I went to this doctor several times over the course of three years complaining of prostate problems and a suspected infection. He sent me to a specialist who failed to diagnose the problem. After that I went back to Salzman to ask him to send me to another specialist because the problem was still persisting but he let out a short laugh and said: "You want to see ANOTHER urologist???" Salzman tested my urine in the office once and almost gleefully said it was clear in a condescending way that was clearly meant to shut me up. He once told me he wasn't a psychiatrist and insinuated I was a hypochondriac but I insisted on seeing another urologist who correctly diagnosed me with chronic prostatitis and later with prostate cancer. I once gave Salzman information about mycoplasma infections but he just shrugged it off....funny thing though...I was later successfully treated for exactly that by an infectious disease specialist who immediately suspected it was the problem. I'M HEALTHY! No… thanks to Salzman who clearly is under-educated. I once saw him walking through my urologist's office and I bet it was because he was trying to learn more...In my case he evidently didn't know a urine sample can be clear while an infection is present in the prostate. I'd stay away from him unless you have the guts to withstand being insulted and are capable of learning on your own and then insisting on options he obviously didn't even know about.
