You might find yourself with two questions: why would you join MDVIP; why would you choose Dr. Elman? Since I hesitated myself, the answer was that continuing to barely see a doctor who is already running late, and, overworked, barely acknowledges your file, needed to be changed. I can't compare other MDVIP doctors, but I can recommend that you consider becoming his patient. Over an appointment hour, his nurse will take your temperature, check oxygen and pulse, take blood pressure on both arms, and both legs, verify your weight, BMI, run an EKG, check every aspect of your vision. Then Dr Elman meets with you for a second hour. As a new patient, most of the time is spent creating your health profile: meds; vaccinations; surgeries; procedures; system questions; social questions. If you have recent lab work, bring results. Unlike other practices, it's absolutely obvious that he will take the time, he will answer all of your questions, he will go over results in hand. A physical exam… follows. If you forget something, he will reply to your message the same day. Do you need a referral to a specialist? If the above doesn't sound anything like your current doctor/patient relationship, you now have an option with Dr Elman.

Dr. Igor Elman is truly exceptional. He spent nearly three full hours with me during my annual wellness visit — answering every question thoroughly and offering insights I didn’t even expect from a physician. He’s not only incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, but also patient, supportive, and open to progressive and integrative approaches. As a D.O., he brings a rare holistic perspective that’s often missing in today’s rushed medical world. I’m generally a very critical patient, but I give Dr. Elman my highest recommendation. He’s one of a kind.
