Dr. Igor Korotun

I cannot say enough about how impressed I was with Dr. Korotun and his detailed perfectionists. You can tell that he has long experience which creates an atmosphere of confidence and security. I was completely satisfied with all the work that was done. East Side Smiles office was immaculately clean and the staff was very friendly.

Dr. Korotun is my dentist for many years! He is very gentle, kind, and honest. He did many root canals for me which were painless. He is amazing with injections. He has also done crowns for me and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with him. The office staff is very nice and welcoming. I give Dr. Korotun and East Side Smiles 5 stars - highly recommend!!!!!!!

You should read all the reviews under “Dr. Korotun” online. He has changed the name of the practice a number of times because of bad reviews. He convinced me on a treatment that was completely unnecessary, which I am now having to redo with specialists. After over two years trying to fix my bite issues with my crowns, he convinced me that orthodontics would not work and that replacing all six crowns was a solution. Within five months I had crowns falling out and a severe infection that left my face unrecognizable (over $10K wasted), now I am working with an orthodontist and prosthodontist to redo his work. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN WITH YOUR DENTAL CARE. He has also been disciplined in the past by New York Professional Licensing Board so clearly can't be trusted.

This dentist is a crook! Insisted that my chipped tooth needed an onlay, charged me close to $500 for an 'onlay' which was later verified by another dentist to be just a regular filling, which should have cost of nothing out of pocket with insurance. Very heavy and rough hands and bad bed side manners which made the whole process very uncomfortable. Never going back there again.

This guy is a crook. Ordered very expensive treatment for my daughter which other dentists said she didn't need. Made her wait an hour to call me for payment in advance. Second opinion said he was a con artist. Russian, extremely unfriendly and his receptionist is as rude as they come.

This guy is a very creepy crook, completely devoid of a personality. Will tell you need a lot of expensive work. Get anther opinion. You don't need it. The only person more rude is the office worker.

This guy is no Dr. Hanson. He's Russian with absolutely no people skills. His receptionist is rude. He suddenly found a ton of expensive work that needed to be done, when none existed 6 months ago. There's a reason why it's easy to get an appointment. Very poor communication skills.
