An outstanding physician who literally saved my life.

This wonderful and compassionate doctor literally saved my life. Before going to see Dr. Weisz, I bounced around from one psychiatrist to another. I saw several different doctors, all of whom gave me several different diagnoses and prescribed medication after medication. When seeing these doctors, I made no improvement, and my situation only seemed to get worse. Then I met Dr. Weisz. He took the time to get to know me and seemed genuinely concerned about my mental health. What's great about Dr. Weisz is that he combines medication treatment with psychotherapy. Most psychiatrists only see you for five or ten minutes. Dr. Weisz's typical sessions last around 45 minutes. This gives him the time to get to know you and decide the best course of action to take. Also, Dr. Weisz does not overmedicate his patients. He has prescribed me the least amount of medication as possible. As a result, my mental health has greatly improved. When I first walked in to Dr. Weisz's office, I was… sleeping for 12 hours a day because I was on so much medication. Dr. Weisz and I worked together to lower the amount of medications I was taking. Moreover, Dr. Weisz is a wonderful psychotherapist. We have talked about various issues in my life, and Dr. Weisz's sessions have offered me new insight into my problems. I have learned to look at some of my problems from a different perspective. Dr. Weisz's bedside manner is outstanding. He truly seems to care. This is in stark contrast to other psychiatrists who come across as cold and callous. I have absolute trust in Dr. Weisz, and I recommend him to anyone experiencing mental health issues. I completely disagree with the negative reviews on Yelp. Again, this kind, gentle doctor literally saved my life.
