I've had several aesthetic treatments here, including the Trilift facials, RF microneedling, and chemical peels - and the results have been incredible. My skin has never looked or felt better. Frustrated by poor and in indifferent service at a big popular Bronx practice, over 15 years ago when I decided to search for a more compassionate, individualized, professional, thoughtful, glaucoma-specialist, detail-driven, and community-friendly ophthalmology practice for my dementia-afflicted mother, it fortunately led us to Dr. Alozie-Uddoh at the Wakefield Eye Care practice. I eventually became a patient myself, spanning over 13 years. My eye care has greatly benefited from Dr. Alozie-Uddoh's specialization (including surgery) and her willingness and patience to work the details around trying different combinations of eye drop medications to achieve optimal results (lower eye pressure) for me. Her post-surgery patient care was exceptional. Dr. Alozie-Uddoh's eye exams includes the highly important and recommended OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) equipment, which allows the doctor to map and measure (noninvasive) the health of the macula (the central area of vision). … Without reservations, I highly recommend Dr. Alozie-Uddoh.

Dr Alozie-Uddoh is a great doctor. She is very knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. I came to her as a third opinion after having seen two other doctors in the area. She took time to explain things to me and made me feel very comfortable. You will get individualized attention from this doctor.

I found Dr. Ihuoma Alozie-Uddoh to be exceptional. She is knowledgeable and caring. However, you have to watch the billing dept. They have over billed me more than once and there is no way to speak to their billing department. I had to go thru my insurance company more than once to clear up their billing inaccuracies. And, I when I ask to speak to Dr. Ihuoma U. Alozie -Uddoh about their billing practices, I was told that she was too busy to talk to or see me. When I express that I would not returned if I couldn't speak to her, they seem to care less. So, now I am looking for a new eye doctor. She is great but watch overcharges on your billing. And, expect little or no help from her office receptionist for explanations.. Good luck

I have been seen by Dr. Alozie-Uddoh for the past one year now and my experience has been superb. She is a knowledgeable, caring physician who has managed my care very well. I never have to wait very long for an appointment or to be seen. The office staff is friendly and the receptionist calls to remind me of my appointment! I am very impressed by her and I will continue to follow up at the Wakefield Eye Center as long as I live in NYC.
