Dr. Ijeoma Innocent-Ituah, MD

Dr. Innocent did not listen to what my symptoms were and spent very little time with me. It took me 2 weeks to heal which would have been the same if I didn't see her. She was no help and did not call with test results, I had to call her office.

I had read a couple bad reviews about this doctor but had decided to give her a chance. Now I wish I hadn't. I was going in for a general check up and to go over some blood work. I also happened to be coming down sick and wanted to get it checked out. Well after I finally get in to see her, all she did was look at the computer. Hardly talked to me at all or even looked at me. I told her about my sore throat and she didn't even look in my throat! Instead she looked in my ears and said that she was surprised I could hear at all there was so much wax. And then she kept on insisting that I should be deaf, that I shouldn't be able to hear anything at all. So she decides she's going to clean it out and grabs a long plastic thing and shoves it down my ear. And it really hurt. The kind of hurt when you push a q-tip too deep into your ear. And I'm telling her to stop, it hurts and she keeps saying, "Just one more minute, almost got it, one more minute." Eventually, I had to shove her hand away… because she was not stopping when I asked. There were lots of other things she did that smacked of her unprofessionalism. DO NOT GO TO THIS WOMAN!

This is my 4th female physician, but the best by far. She comes across as a little gruff, but she's not. She's patient, caring, and explains everything thoroughly. No-nonsense, frank, and thorough. I've already recommended her to friends and family - and that's after 1 visit!

Dr. Innocent-Ituah was very nice. She seems competent and caring. I wish she had been a little more willing to explain things to me. You have to push her for explanations. When she gives them they are good.

she was very straight forward but at the end she didn't explain very well what should happen next, why she prescribed certain medication etc. so had to go back and ask the staff.
