Dr. Ileana Aponte-Camacho, MD

Not a quality doctor by any means and doesn't respond well with doctors with much higher pay grades and more experience. This doctor and staff are uncaring and rude. Your just a number in and out. The doctor doesn't listen to the patients and rushs you out.

Saw this doctor for a little over a year, is good for cold and flu. Anything else don't waste your time. Her nurse is hardly a nurse, not a LPN or RN, but and old nasty attitude woman with little in skills or caring for patients. Dr Aponte in comparison to good doctors like transplant doctors, fails in comparison. Caring and compassion is not their for the patients or follow up care. Would not recommend this facility to anyone...

I had to have a pap smear at my doctor's office and Dr. Aponte did the procedure. I told her before that it was very painful when I get a pap smear since I am 58 years old. She just went ahead... it was so painful I had to yell several times. At one point she gave the speculum a huge shove in and I really had to SCREAM. Afterwards, she did apologize for hurting me. It was only when I got dressed that I realized that she DIDN'T USE ANY LUBE ON THE SPECULUM and I was BLEEDING VAGINALLY. I will NEVER see her again. She didn't listen, didn't use commonly accepted medical procedures and she hurt me. If I were you, I would find another doctor.
