Horrible experience.

Ladies pick your GYN wisely no one wants you or your baby are not going to make alive when you have a perfect pregnancy.

Total nightmare till today I still haven’t gotten over it. I still remember her angry face, screaming at everyone in the room. She gave orders to the nurse to induce me, broke my water without my knowledge, basically almost forced me to take epidural when I clearly had stated that I wanted a natural birth. She had no patience or empathy, straight to my face while in pain she said my baby was gonna come out with flat heart rate. Her screaming, negative comments, and way of handling things thought me to never trust any doctor before searching then or reading reviews.

She gave orders to the nurse to induce me, broke my water without my knowledge, basically almost forced me to take epidural when I clearly had stated that I wanted a natural birth. She had no patience or empathy, straight to my face while in pain she said my baby was gonna come out with flat heart rate. Only saw her once during my pregnancy, she rolls her eyes at you had very bad symptoms that required therapy and all she said is “eat more bananas “ when asked to write a letter she refused. To make it worse they happened to assign her to deliver my baby. Total nightmare till today I still haven’t gotten over it. I still remember her angry face, screaming at everyone in the room. At that moment we were terrified, the starter the process of the injection the anesthesiologists was very nervous because he refused at the beginning he said… it was too late and there was a lot of risks involved, she screamed at him and made him pulled out the agreement, I was in shock all I wanted was my baby to come out alive. When he was injecting the epidural my baby was born and they had me sitting still.. baby almost fell in the floor. No one but a nurse and the anesthesiologists were present. If wasn’t for her baby would’ve fall down. I tried to lay back to bed I stand myself with one of the needles that they had in the bed. It was a perfect pregnancy and it was planned to be natural, I believe I did not need induction pills, epidural nor a urgent cesarean. I hope this helps other ladies pick their GYN wisely.

Excellent Doctor

I have been seeing Dr. Carlos for many years. Her practice has changed. The waiting room is now always packed. I feel like a "number" instead of a patient. She used to spend time with me and really understand what is going on. It is now a factory to get in and out as many people.

She is ALWAYS in a rush. She lacks in tact and in bedside manner. And if you have questions, she doesn't hesitate to roll her eyes at you. She is incredibly rude and feels it is ok to talk down to you. NEVER AGAIN. Julie however, her nurse practitioner, is wonderful. Her bedside manner is amazing. She talks to you and listens and answers ANY questions without rolling her eyes at you. It's a shame she isn't an ob/gyn her self. Julie is beyond amazing.

I saw Dr. Carlos and her PA Julie during my first pregnancy 2-3 years ago. Both Dr. Carlos and Julie were nothing but professional, caring and I never had a long wait for an appointment. Even her staff were very nice and personable. I am going to use Dr. Carlos for my 2nd pregnancy as well.
